Kristy Swanson Wedding

ET is with Kristy Swanson and Lloyd Eisler on their wedding day as the couple prepares to say "I do" -- but not everything goes as planned on their big day! ET is inside the Madonna Inn in San Luis Obispo, Calif., to see Kristy's gorgeous gown, elegant wedding hair and the reception site.

Just as five interlocking rings symbolize the Olympic spirit, so the wedding rings which two-time Olympic bronze medalist Lloyd Eisler and actress Kristy Swanson presented to each other on February 7, 2009 represent the spirit of a love which continues to grow.

The Van Morrison tune "Crazy" announced the arrival of the bride, whose Carmen Steffens shoes carried her past the 100 friends and family members who had gathered at the Madonna Inn in San Luis Obispo, California to witness the event, People magazine reported. The groom, who donned a black Nicole Miller tuxedo for the occasion, stood by the officiant as he watched the woman who won his heart as they skated to victory in the 2006 FOX reality competition Skating with Celebrities walk toward him in an ivory Amy Michelson creation.
Following the exchange of vows, guests nibbled on chocolate truffles from FireLilly Gourmet Chocolates and sampled slices of a four-tier wedding cake while the song "I'll Be"-- an Edwin McCain tune from the soundtrack of their days on the FOX skating series-- beckoned the newlyweds on to the dance floor.

Swanson, who played the original Buffy the Vampire Slayer in the 1992 movie, met Eisler on the set of the Fox faux-reality show Skating With Celebrities, which Swanson won in 2006. So smitten was the Canadian skater that he failed to switch off his cell phone, and of course someone called in mid-ceremony. Swanson said she lost 45 pounds for the wedding. May the new marrieds perform Salchows and triple Lutzes into the sunset.
